Об этом Геннадий Айдаев объявил на итоговом совещание 18 марта. Мэр отметил, что по итогам 2009 года МУП «Водоканал» сработал в убыток.У предприятия просрочена задолженность по обязательным платежам. В то же время задолженность населения города перед «Водоканалом» составляет более 100 миллионов рублей.

 - В сфере коммунального хозяйства, особенно в сфере водоснабжения и водоотведения, мы наблюдаем те же самые проблемы, что и десять лет назад, - заявил Геннадий Айдаев. - Это недостаток капитала и низкая инвестиционная привлекательность.

 Решение проблемы городские власти видят в акционировании предприятия. Тем более в Улан-Удэ уже есть, по мнению Геннадия Айдаева, положительный опыт работы с МУП «Городские электросети». На базе муниципального управления в 2008 году было создано акционерное общество «Улан-Удэнерго», с участием инвестора в лице МРСК Сибири.

По словам мэра Улан-Удэ, на момент создания «Улан-УдэЭнерго» учредитель вложил в уставной капитал финансовые средства в размере 136 миллионов рублей, а сегодня со стороны МРСК Сибири принято решение увеличить уставной капиталпредприятия до 616 миллионов рублей.

 - Создание организации, которая изначально была обеспечена собственными оборотными средствами, позволила «Улан-УдэЭнерго» нормально, в рабочем режиме подготовить сети электроснабжения к отопительному сезону, - сказал мэр города. -  Если раньше просроченность МУП «Городские электросети» постоянно находилась на нашем контроле, то сегодня положение «Улан-Удэнерго» стабильно, выплата обязательных платежей и заработной платы осуществляется современное. Предприятие работает на перспективу.
